Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport (IATA: BLQ; ICAO: LIPE), also known as Bologna International Airport, is an international airport serving Bologna, Italy. It is located about 7 km away from Bologna city centre, in the Italian Emilia-Romagna region. Bologna Airport (BLQ) has two passenger Terminals:

The Main Terminal

It has 3 levels, 22 airline gates and more than 35 shops, stores, restaurants and dutty free area. It has baggage check-in with bag counter in the ground level, with counters for tickets, car rental desk, information desk, meeting point, ATM machines, baggage wrapping service, tour operators, Carrefour Express supermarket and many other services and facilities. In the first floor you’ll find the lost and found desk, with special assistance lounge, MBL VIP Lounge, security checkpoints and boarding area with gates 11 to 1 and 12 to 24. At the second floor you’ll find restaurants.

The East Terminal

It is mostly used for baggage check-in and arrivals of Ryanair flights of non European citizens to check their visa or passports. 

Terminals Transfer

There are 3 options to get from one terminal to the other:

o Passengers can use the BLQ Express train which works from floor 1 of the Main Terminal and travels to the East Terminal (in around 7 minutes).
o Passengers can also use the BLQ Aerobus route
o Passengers can walk between both terminals, which takes around 8 minutes.
